The invitation of the Municipality to cooperate with the School of Fine Arts in actions for Christmas was welcomed with enthusiasm on our part. We approached the invitation with an artistic proposal, an installation placed in the square of Ioannina and specifically an interpretation of a very important form in the Art of the 20th century, such as Tatlin's tower.  The reference/citation to an artwork of the past and its re-interpretation is a common practice in art. Transformation does not aim at copying and sterile repetition but adds a different interpretation or contrasts a different representational system according to the different context in which it is produced.

Tatlin's original intent to create this form of spiral was the praise of the greatness of the human spirit and the evolution of man. The intention of the School was to update the praise of the human spirit, producing this form with reusable materials and few types of pieces, in the logic of the meccano structures.
